Fourth day of filming

Date: 18/02/13
Location: Shayne's house
Schedule:Re-filming Interior scenes

Crew:
Me: Actor
Michael: Director
Shayne: Assistant Director
Tyrell: Camera Operator

The main objective of the day was to re-film all of the interior scenes as I had misplaced the memory card and lost all of our previous footage we had filmed. In a way this worked to our advantage as it meant that we could perfect all that we had filmed before knowing what went well and what didn't work well. It also enabled us to add any fresh content that we believed would help enrich the video and improve it overall. So as a group we decided that it was best to re film all of the interior scenes.
We decided to film during the half term as it would give us more time to really perfect all of our filming and also to cover all of the interior scenes and looking back that really did help us having an entire day to film with no distractions to take our focus off of the project.
We began by filming the interior scenes which occur early on in the music video. We started by setting  up the equipment and analysing our storyboard to see how we would plan out the day and if there was anything we could  add  to the video to enhance the viewing experience.
One of the shots we came up with on the day was a shot of spilled tablets upon the protagonists bathroom floor as we see his feet walk past. This would take place after the protagonist had picked up a bottle of pills and threw them to the ground.
This shot cold connote two possible ideas depending on the viewer’s perspective. One; that the protagonist is on medication and is deciding to reject the help that is being handed to him almost as a sign of rebellion against people telling him what he should do. Two; the protagonist is addicted to pills (much like Eminem was when writing the song ) and by throwing it to the ground he is trying to break the viscous circle, from research I did find that drugs are one of the main causes of suicide a problem that is directly facing our protagonist.
During the day we took two or three breaks to charge the camera and get some food but apart from that we worked solidly throughout the day. It would've been more helpful to have more professional equipment for some of the overhead shots and for some of the lighting but overall that was our most productive and efficient day of filming.
